Cortina brings back some special action
This season's sbx World Cup tour will feature a total of eight stops of which three are brand new. One of them is Cortina d'Ampezzo, which has left its stamps on the Europa Cup circuit already.

Since 2009, the winter sport resort in the southern Dolomite Alps situated on the Boite river has been organising high-level snowboard cross events of which the last have been staged under the lights.

As a result, the experienced Local Organising Committee plans to enrich the World Cup tour with some night time finals therefore letting the long waiting for such a special highlight finally come to an end.

The last time the World cup circuit had a snowboard cross race under lights dates back to 2010 when Lech celebrated a stunning debut as World Cup host.
