Each year the 1stJuly sees a buzz amongst the World Snow Day Organisers as event registration for the coming edition of World Snow Day opens. In 2018, the buzz will be stronger as Organisers will be racing to be the first event to register and claim the title “Line Honors”.
The “Line Honors” title along with the titles of Best World Snow Day, Best Small World Snow Day and Most Creative, the World Snow Day Awards are part of the World Snow Day Awards programme.
The World Snow Day Awards recognize the best actions to bring children to the snow. In 2017, the first World Snow Day Awards were presented, and Line Honors went to FIS World Cup and World Championship Organiser Oberstdorf (GER). Oberstdorf, in an act of amazing generosity, went one step further and donated their 1’000CHF to the local ski club.
To register for World Snow Day 2019 and be in the running for Line Honors, Organisers need only to click the link below and be the first to complete the application form: application form.
Registrations will open on the 1st July 2018 at 08:00am (CET) and remain open to the 15thDecember 2018.
