FIS was deeply saddened to learn about the tragic death of 24-year-old Swiss downhill skier Gian Luca Barandun in a paragliding accident. Barandun was a member of the Swiss A-level team and was a rising star for Swiss Ski. 

FIS sends its deepest condolences to family members, friends, teammates and the Swiss Ski Association.
