Two-time Olympic champion Claudia Nystad decided to compete at Sochi.

"I would like to qualify for the Sochi Olympic Games" - said the German skier, who announced her retirement after the 2009/10 season.

35-year-old Nystad won the Olympic "gold" at Salt-Lake-City-2002 in relay, and in team sprint at Vancouver-2010.
