Austrian ski jumper Thomas Morngernstern couldn't prepare for the World Cup at Finland and Norway after injury and may stop competing before the end of the season.

At the World Championships at Val Di Fiemme the athlete injuried his knee.

"It was important for me to know that I didn't torch the ligaments. I've torched the joint capsule, it's rather painfull but not dangerous at all" - says Morgernstern.

The 26-year old jumper is under the phisiotherapy now. "It's a pitty but I need some more rest. Maybe I will go to Planica, but first of all I have to recover my physical conditions" - says Morgernstern.
