Alexander Stoeckl extends contract in Norway
Now it's official: Alexander Stoeckl extended his contract as head coach of the Norwegian ski jumping team.

Already some time ago the Norwegian Ski Association and the Austrian agreed that they want to continue working together until the next Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, on Wednesday the new contract was signed.

"I'm happy that we now finalized the contract and that I can work with the Norwegian Ski Association for the upcoming four years. In the period until the 2018 Olympic Games it's now most important for me to continue the good work we started and further develop the system of Norwegian ski jumping", the 40-year-old is quoted on aftenposten.no.

Clas Brede Brathen, sports director of the Norwegian Ski Association, is also happy about the continuation of the successful cooperation. "We are very happy that we were able to extend Alexander's contract until 2018. This was our wish, he is the best coach we can have."
