It seems the last weeks/months have been something like a Hedgehog Day for the Swiss Snowboard Cross Team as the squad led by Harald Benselin visited Saas-Fee for several training camp which alternated with stamina work out weeks

While the first stops on the Allalin glacier were focusing on the freestyle aspects of snowboard cross with the riders hitting the kicker line in the Freestyle Park as well as dropped in the pipe, the most recent camps featured more real sbx sessions.

While the training got shortened due to the new focus, exercises didn't get less intense. However, the whole team also capitalised on the early bird rides.

Stefanie Rieder remembers in her personal blog: “We were the first ones on the mountain and were able to enjoy some pow-pow.”
