Michael Maurer new president of the 4-Hills-Tournament
Michael Maurer was elected the new president of the 4-Hills-Tournament at the spring meetings of the chairmen of the ski clubs of Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.

The 44-year-old of the skiclub Partenkirchen follows Alfons Schranz of Innsbruck, who held the position of president since 2010.

"I'm looking forward to the new task and the big challenge. Alfons Schranz as president and Stefan Huber as managing director, together with his team in Oberstdorf, did a great job for the 4-Hills-Tournament over the past years. They played a decisive role that the 4-Hills-Tournament could keep it's cult status and became the world's most important winter sports event", said Maurer.

In accordance with the statutes, the chairmen of the four ski clubs alternate as head of the 4-Hills-Tournament every three years (with the option to extend the term for one year).
