Site inspection for Ski Tour Canada 2016
The FIS representatives were in Canada from 13th-18th August 2015 to inspect the venues that are set to host Ski Tour Canada 2016 Cross-Country Skiing events in Gatineau, Montréal, Québec City, and Canmore from 1st-12th March 2016.

At the various inspections, FIS Cross-Country Race Director Pierre Mignerey, Event Coordinator Sandra Spitz and Media Coordinator Michal Lamplot together with Cross Country Ski Canada members and the local Organising Committees, took a close look at the planned courses and facilities available in each of the host cities..

“We took the time to analyse everything in order to prioritise the work that remains to be done before the start of the Tour,” explained Dave Dyer, Event Director at Cross Country Ski Canada. Over the next few weeks and months, the Organising Committees will continue working on course plans, presenting partners, and the lineup of events for each stage of the Tour.

As the Season Final, and with no Olympic Games or World Championships on the competition calendar, Ski Tour Canada 2016 is sure to a key highlight of the upcoming season
