In interactive breakout sessions, the FIS Development Programme experts Werner Margreiter, Markus Malsiner, Sandro Pertile and Martijn Oostdijk, gave advice about the opportunities to take initial and/or further steps to help the National Ski Associations develop activities in Alpine, Nordics and Freestyle/Snowboard and broaden their scope of activity.

Representing the Ski Racing Suppliers (SRS), Riccardo Zanoni provided an in depth look at how National Ski Associations can seek access to competition equipment to provide everything that’s necessary for athletes to excel in their sport.

In addition, the programme included a comprehensive update with specific details and information about the new calculation system for the FIS financial support that is provided to the National Ski Associations, which was approved at the 50th FIS Congress in Cancun (MEX).
