Vail-Beaver Creek 2015 Longines clock
As the grand finale to the Vail/Beaver Creek Final Inspection, which was held 2nd-3rd September, the Organising Committee invited all the participants in the Inspection Group to help unveil the official Longines countdown clock in Beaver Creek Village.

With 152 days left, the Longines clock was unveiled to a hearty applause as one of the final display elements for the upcoming FIS Alpine Ski World Championships became public. The Longines clock is located directly in front of the entrance of the Beaver Creek Village and at the main shuttle stop that will take fans up to the finish area of the races.

On the same day the Longines clock was unveiled, the official construction of the finish area stadium also got underway with the first row of scaffolding for the tribunes going up at the bottom of the race courses.
