AM 1150 reports online that Kelowna's Kelsey Serwa has named named Honorary Captain of Team B.C. for the 2015 Canada Winter Games which will take place in the Prince George area from Feb 13 thru March 1, 2015.

The 29-year-old two time ski cross Olympian who won Silver at the 2014 Sochi Winter Games is quoted:

“I am thrilled to be part of Team B.C. again. It was a real eye-opener for me to attend the Canada Games in 2007 and I remember the pride I felt representing my province. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with the 2015 athletes and cheering on Team B.C. to a fantastic performance”.

Back in 2007, Serwa won Gold for Team B.C. at the Canada Winter Games.
