Intense activity in Oberstdorf
Many teams currently take advantage of the excellent training conditions in Oberstdorf (GER) in order to get themselves ready for the upcoming winter season.

Over the past days, athletes of Norway and Finland were already training in the Erdinger-Arena. The German national team will arrive there on Wednesday, followed by the national teams of Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic, who also want to make their first training jumps on the ice track on both, the normal and the large hill.

"More than ten years ago we were the first World Cup venue to use a track cooling system at the 4-Hills-Tournament and with this development we set a new trend in ski jumping. With the new systems we can now provide the national teams with the opportunity to train on the ice track already in fall. We now have the same ice track as they jump on in winter, even with temperatures of about 20° C", said Stefan Huber, general secretary of the 4-Hills-Tournament.

"We are happy about the huge interest of the world's best teams. This shows the appreciation we gained over the past years. The training in Oberstdorf is an important factor in the national team's preparation for the winter season", Huber added.

The opening event of the 4-Hills-Tournament this season will take place in Oberstdorf on December 28th.
