Lack of snow not a problem for 4-Hills-Tournament
There's not a lot of snow in Central Europe right now, but the 4-Hills-Tournament, which starts on the weekend after Christmas in Oberstdorf (GER), is not in danger.

"We will be jumping on snow at all four venues", Alfons Schranz, president of the 4-Hills-Tournament, is confident. Different ways were found in order to get the necessary snow for all four hills.

In Oberstdorf, the same technology is used, that already worked successfully at the World Cup opener in Klingenthal, Garmisch-Partenkirchen could get the snow from ice rinks in Upper Bavaria, Bischofshofen from the Grossglockner-mountain and a snow debot was set up for Innsbruck 1300 m above sea level.
