News from the FIS Development Programme Training Camp in Kreischberg
The FIS Development Programme Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Training Camp 2015 (23rd January - 1st February) is off to an excellent start in Kreischberg (AUT). 27 participants from eight nations had the opportunity to see their idols in action during the final days of the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships. Watching the Snowboard Big Air and Ski Cross finals gave the athletes and coaches of the camp early inspiration for the week of training ahead: "Seeing the WSC big air finals was the best experience of my life!" said Argentina’s Agustina Soler Hubscher.

The first day of training saw the athletes head into the small park. During lunch, Roberto Moresi, FIS Assistant Race Director Snowboard, came to meet with the camp participants before they headed to halfpipe training in the afternoon.

Martijn Oostijk, FIS Development Programme Freestyle Ski and Snowboard Camp Coordinator, commented on the friendly atmosphere during the first days of the camp "It is amazing to see both athletes and coaches working together to improve their skills, by exchanging information and having a great time in such an international group". By sharing experiences and knowledge during this camp, coaches and athletes will be able to return to their countries, having acquired new techniques and skills:

The schedule for the next days includes further training in halfpipe and slopestyle and off-snow activities such as seminars on waxing, healthy living and training scheduling, as well as a football tournament and a walk through the woods with torches.

FIS would like to express its thanks the Organising Committee Kreischberg 2015 for their help and support in organising this training camp.
