The ongoing work preparing for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games plays an important role for each of the FIS disciplines, as well as the general organisational aspects collaborating closely with the IOC.

Last week Sarah Lewis, FIS Secretary General joined the IOC Sport and Venues Workshop in PyeongChang primarily to address logistical arrangements for the Technical Officials and meet with different function areas: accommodation, transportation and venues.

Next season the first PyeongChang 2018 Test Events will take place in February 2016 with FIS World Cup competitions in Alpine Skiing, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard and both the construction work on the courses, as well as the organisational aspects are moving forward.
