Yesterday, 1st April, the meeting of the Governmental Commission has been held on the issue of preparation and holding the Olympic Games.
ABOUT THE MONEY INVESTED
- We will not exceed the budget, – said the Minister of Sports Vitaliy Mutko. The budget of the Olympic Games is 1,5 trillion rubles, about 65% of it is the money of non-governmental investors, “Gazprom” for example.
ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THE SPORTS FACILITIES
- The future of 378 sports facilities was discussed at the meeting. We investigated the situation and looked closely at each territory – said Kozak. Of course, the city doesn’t need four skating centers. One of them will become a cycle race track, another one will be a shopping center. But all the facilities of the mountain cluster will be used after the Olympic Games.
