Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation has announced composition of nationals teams for the 2015/16 season. A few changes took place in the Russian squad for the upcoming winter.

Ladies team

Yulia Chekaleva and Anastasia Dotsenko are going to take a year off for the maternity leave, on the contrary Darya Vedenina (Godovanizhenko), Polina Kalsina (Medvedeva) and Maria Gushina come back from the baby break and the ladies' team is going to be youngest ever.

Group A: Coach Akimov Danil, Frolin Yuri

Zhambalova Alisa, Zhukova Natalia, Kovaleva Polina, Matveeva Natalia, Repnitsyna Olga, Romanova Yula, Soboleva Elena, Storozhilova Darya, Shunaeva Nadezda.

Coach Gelmanov Artemiy
Belorukova Yulia, Vasileva Lilia, Vedenina Darya, Gushina Maria, Kalsina Polina, Nepryaeva Natalia, Nechaevskaya Anna, Oshepkova Evgenia, Sedova Anastasia.

Sprint team
The men's sprint team remains stable with a newcomer Pavel Petrov. Olympic Champion and FIS Tour de Ski winner is going to join the sprint team with his own training plan.

Men's teams

Ilya Chernousov continues to train independently with coach Vegard Bitnes.

The core of the Russian men's distance athletes continues under coach Oleg Perevozchikov.
