COC: First win for Slovenia's Domen Prevc

In the final Continental Cup competition of the summer 2015, Domen Prevc took his first win in this series.

The only 16-year-old Slovene, already second in the first competition in the Vogtland-Arena on Saturday, was tenth after the first round with 129.5 m. With the longest jump of the day on 141.5 m in the final, the brother of Peter proved his currently great shape and secured this success with a total of 260.5 points.

Andreas Stjernen of Norway finished second with jumps on 132.5 m and 139.5 m and 258.9 points. One point behind Stjernen, Maciej Kot, who closely missed the podium on Saturday, came in third with 135 m and 130.5 m.

Former 4-Hills-Tournament winner Jakub Janda of the Czech Republic followed close behind the Top 3 in fourth, the fifth place went to Poland's Bartlomiej Klusek.

Vincent Descombes Sevoie was in the lead after the first round ahead of the two Poles Kot and Klusek with 133.5 m. His second jump on 133 m was then not good enough for the top, but the French can still be very satisfied with his sixth place today.

Andreas Wank was again the best athlete of the German team in seventh in front of the home crowd, followed by the best of the Austrians, Florian Altenburger. Andraz Pograjc of Slovenia moved up from 18th to ninth with a strong second jump, Dawid Kubacki of Poland completed the Top 10.

Daniel Andre Tande, the winner of Saturday's competition, was disqualified already in the first round because his suit was not compliant to the rules.

Despite this disqualification, the Norwegian won the overall title of the COC this summer with a total four wins and 505 points. The second and third place went to Poland, with Dawid Kubacki (446 points) and Maciej Kot (404 points).
