Heidi Weng and Petter Northug won this year's edition of Toppidrettsveka, held in Aure and Trondheim from 18th - 20th August.

There were three ladies who were fighting for victory in the last competition of Toppidrettsveka. The Jury decided to change the start procedure of the ladies race from a pursuit to a mass start. Heidi Weng was the strongest in the 12 km classic competition. Kathrine Harsem took second place +1:18.4 back. Silje Øyre Slind finished 3rd +1:24.7. 

Petter Northug won the men's race ahead of Mattis Stenshagen and Mikael Gunnulsen. Northug had a comfortable lead before the last stage of Toppidrettsveka of 25 seconds. The chase group came close to Northug held Stenshagen back and by 3 seconds took the victory.
