The Czech posted jumps on 135.5 m and 138.5 m for a total of 289.6 points and came in ahead of local hero Simon Ammann and Austrian Michael Hayboeck.

With 134 m and 136.5 m Ammann missed the home-win by 5.2 points. Hayboeck jumped on 135.5 m and 134.5 m (282.4 points) and finished third for the fourth time this season.

Koudelka at 90 %

Roman Koudelka said after the competition: “My jumps today were better than yesterday. Of course I'm satisfied with my performance and with the result, although I was still a bit late at the take-off, my jumps were at 90 %. Now I have a positive feeling for Christmas and the 4-Hills-Tournament. I want to wish everybody a merry Christmas."

Simon Ammann told Berkutschi: "I'm satisfied with how it went today, but I still have room for improvement at the take-off. It's always my goal to do a good job, and there's nothing better than to thank the fans with a good jump. It's a great feeling to have a good jump and in the second round I wanted to celebrate already before the landing. In my opinion Michael Hayboeck is one of the favorites for the 4-Hills-Tournament, the Germans are strong as well and I also reckon with Jernej Damjan and Peter Prevc."

And Hayboeck said: "I'm very satisfied, it was a great competition for me. Congratulations to Roman and Simon, they showed really strong performances today. My jumps were very good, the others were better. If I continue to jump on this level, it will be enough to stand on top of the podium soon."

Damjan close ahead of Freitag

Slovenia's Jernej Damjan, third on Saturday, finished fourth with 129.5 m and 133 m and 266.9 points. The winner of Saturday's competition, Richard Freitag, came in fifth, 0.1 points behind with 131 m and 130.5 m. Markus Eisenbichler achieved his best World Cup result in sixth with 264.5 points. Matjaz Pungertar came in on a strong seventh place, 0.3 points behind the German. Anders Fannemel defended his lead in the overall World Cup with an eighth place and 264.1 points.

Also Stefan Kraft in ninth (261.6 points) and Severin Freund in tenth were separated by only 0.1 point. At the end there were only 5.4 points between the fourth and tenth in this competition. Gregor Schlierenzauer was 11th and will probably not be completely satisfied with the final test for the 4-Hills-Tournament. Peter Prevc (12th) still has some room for improvement as well. Behind Anders Bardal and Robert Kranjec, Piotr Zyla was the best of the Polish team in 15th.

Kofler with the longest jump

The longest jump of the day was shown by Andreas Kofler with 140 m. The Austrian was 18th, behind Michael Neumayer and Lauri Asikainen. Mikhail Maksimochkin and Vladislav Boyarintsev proved the positive trend of the Russian team in 19th and 28th. Vincent Descombes Sevoie and Ronan Lamy Chappuis scored World Cup points for the French team in 25th and 30th.

In the overall World Cup, Anders Fannemel now has a lead of only two points over Roman Koudelka. Michael Hayboeck is third, followed by Severin Freund. Simon Ammann and Peter Prevc share the fifth place.

The 4-Hills-Tournament starts on Saturday, December 27th, with the qualification in Oberstdorf.
