ATHLETE QUOTES

Marit Bjørgen, NOR
I did not feel so good in my semi-finals so it was a surprise to feel so strong in the final. I am happy to win bothering races this weekend and I am looking forward to the Christmas holidays and to Prepare for the Tour de Ski. I would like to say Merry Christmas to everyone here in Davos. It was a nice time for me here.

Stina Nilsson, ENG
I am so excited about my first free technique podium. In executed my tactics as the Planned. I wanted to attack on the last climb. I wanted to Be Closer to Marit but she was too firm.

Ingvild Flugstad Østberg, NOR
It is my second podium in two weeks. Today was a good race but I did not feel quite as good as last weekend. Stina passed me on the last climb. But I am really really happy about the third place.

Federico Pellegrino, ITA
It's a great day. In havebeen working for the World Cup victory for SO long. It feels amazing to reach this goal. I Hope That My Victory Will Help the Italian Cross-Country team to good results.

Finn Haagen Krogh, NOR
It is always tough to come back on the course where I have won. I felt the pressure and it is good to be on the podium. I've had not so good start and I had to find a good position in the field. I gained some places in the uphill and I gave it all in the last corner.

Alexey Petukhov, RUS
Last week I was overpriced in the finals but I chose the wrong tactics. Today I did everything right but my legs felt a little bit heavy. I was Able to Close the Gap on Pellegrino But The finishing straight is so solid I could not beat him.
