Complex "Demino", situated in the Yaroslavl region, is a great example of a modern Russian sports infrastructure. In 2003 Sports Ministry of Russian Federation gave it a status of the Regional Centre for Sports Training. Since that time all-Russian cross-country skiing competitions take place there. In the season 2006-2009 center "Demino" was chosen as a venue for World Cup in cross-country skiing. Ten tracks were homologated and received certificates of FIS. A unique 15-kilometer training slope is extremely popular among athletes and professionals of cross-country skiing. It is also used by cross-country skiers of national teams to prepare for major international competitions.

In "Demino" a massive amateur sport is cultivated and every year a ski marathon takes place. It involves representatives from many regions of Russia. On the territory of the ski complex training for children and youth school of Olympic reserve is being carried out.

Every year more and more competitions among both professionals and amateurs are held here.
Sportsmen can not only train in the complex, but also stay there for living.
