

During the FIS Calendar Conference in Varna (BUL), the Cross-Country Committee heard several proposals and made decisions.

It was a little mistake which changed all summer plans Maria Ramberger might have had in mind when the Austrian national team member tore the collateral ligament in her left knee by overshooting a kicker while snowboarding in the USA after the World Cup season had wrapped up.

The FIS Council held its Spring Meeting at the Hotel International in Varna (BUL) on Sunday 7th June 2015 and dealt with a full agenda, including regular items such as reports from Organising Committees of the FIS World Championships, the appointment of technical officials, proposals from the FIS Technical Committees, FIS World Cup calendars and updates to various rules.

The FIS Calendar Conference in Varna concluded with a small number of modifications to the Summer Grand Prix and World Cup calendars and also to the existing rule set in Nordic Combined. Many of the decisions will see their first practical use or a test phase during the Summer Grand Prix.

As per tradition the last Alpine Meeting of the FIS Spring meetings was the Alpine Committee, which took place early Saturday morning in Varna (BUL).

Meeting on Sunday, 7th June, in Varna (BUL), the FIS Council confirmed the calendar for the FIS Cross-Country World Cup presented by Viessmann for the 2015/16 season. The coming winter will feature many highlights including the tenth edition of the FIS Tour de Ski and Ski Tour Canada.

This year's FIS Calendar Conference was held in Varna (BUL) from June 3rd to 6th, followed by the spring meeting of the FIS Council on Sunday.

The president of the Italian Ski Federation, Flavio Roda, approved of the composition of the teams for the upcoming competition season of 2015/16. As in the past, Alessandro Pittin was named as the only athlete on the A World Cup team.

After a wonderful season marked by 48 World Cup podiums and 8 medals during the Vail World Championships, Rossignol Group announces the signature of several new contracts for next winter.

On Thursday the Italian Ski Association (FISI) named the ski jumping teams for the upcoming 2015/16 season.
