There couldn't be a better timing for Winterberg to celebrate its comeback on the FIS Alpine Snowboard World Cup tour after an absence of ten years as the last parallel slalom of a long season staged in the single run format on Saturday, March 14th, has it all with a bunch of riders battle for the title in the race for the crystal globes on the Poppenberg slope.

Two debutants won Vasaloppet 2015: Petter Eliassen, Norway, who won the men's class ahead of seasoned participants Anders Aukland, Norway, and Stanislav Rezác, Czech Republic. Justyna Kowalczyk, Poland, won the ladies class ahead of Britta Johansson Norgren, Sweden, and Seraina Boner, Switzerland.

Stefan Kraft won the individual competition in Lahti. With jumps on 127 m and 133.5 m and 284.5 points, the 4-Hills-Tournament winner took his third win this season ahead of Severin Freund and Anders Fannemel.

Bjoergen sweeps Lahti Ski Games

Marit Bjoergen of Norway took her second win in two days in Lahti, Finland with her victory today in the 10 km classic interval start. Her winning time of 25:27.8 gave her the win over her teammate Heidi Weng +17.3 back in second place. In third was Sweden's Charlotte Kalla +25.3.
