Germany takes home win in Klingenthal

The German ski jumpers took a home win at the opener of the new World Cup season in Klingenthal. Markus Eisenbichler, Richard Freitag, Andreas Wellinger and Severin Freund won with a total of 1098.0 points ahead of Japan (1068.9 points) and Norway (1061.2 points). 
New faces set to start for Team Austria in Ruka

Today’s internal qualification competition, which the Austrian team held in Ruka, led to a World Cup team with multiple new faces. 20 athletes started and fought for eight World Cup spots for the first competitions of the new season next weekend.

US ladies' team for the new season named

Shortly before the start of the winter season, the US ladies' team for 2014/15 was announced on Thursday. A total of nine athletes is on the US Visa Women's Ski Jumping Team for the new season.

Werner Schuster extends contract in Germany

Werner Schuster will remain head coach of the German ski jumpers for the next couple of years. The Austrian and the German Ski Association (DSV) agreed to extend the contract until 2019.

EBU strikes deal with U.S. broadcasters for Austrian FIS Ski World Cups

The EBU and Universal Sports Network have reached a deal on media rights to expand coverage across the USA for the 2015/16 and 2016/17 FIS Ski World Cups to be held in Austria.
