It was announced today on skiforbundet.no and on his Instagram account, that Niklas Dyrhaug - World Championship bronze medalist in the 15 km classic at Lahti 2017 - would delay the start of his ski season until the Lillehammer weekend due to a lower back injury. 
FIS Freeski World Cup: 2017/2018 slopestyle season preview

After a hugely successful season-opening World Cup contest in August at New Zealand’s Cardrona resort, the 2017/18 FIS Freeski slopestyle World Cup season is set to get back on track for winter in the Northern Hemisphere, with the first of five remaining competitions taking to the storied slopes of Austria’s Stubai resort from 23-25 November.
FIS Development Alpine Training Camp underway on Austrian glaciers

21 young athletes from 14 developing National Ski Associations* are currently participating in a 30-day training camp at the Stubai, Hintertux and Pitztal glaciers in Austria. Starting on 15th October 2017, excellent snow conditions have provided favourable training.
