Norway's Heidi Weng has won her first FIS World Cup tour event.

The conditions and circumstances were different, but Slovenian Ilka Stuhec still ruled the downhill track at Lake Louise on Saturday where she picked up her second consecutive victory in as many days. 

It was the first time since more than ten years that a big air World Cup was staged in Germany with the last one dating back to January 2006 (Winterberg).

Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki, Piotr Zyla and Maciej Kot, took the first ever win in a Ski Jumping World Cup team competition for Poland this evening in Klingenthal. 

Second competition, second victory: Sara Takanashi performed the perfect season opening in Lillehammer.

The USA's Jessica Diggins has recorded her second ever individual World Cup victory on stage two of the Lillehammer mini tour.

The first downhill of the season was held under amazing conditions on the „O.K.“ course in Val d’Isère.

Sweden's Calle Halfvarsson has made it two for two in Lillehammer by winning the 10 km free technique competition on stage 2 of the three day mini tour event. 

The second competition of the FIS Super Series big air tour took place on Friday evening in Moenchengladbach (GER) under the lights of the city’s Sparkassenpark. 

The new speed starting order that was unveiled on the ladies' tour on Friday was designed to keep television fans tuned into the broadcast longer than in the past.
