Utah 2019 aerials golds for Ramanouskaya and Burov at Deer Valley

Wednesday night at the Utah 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships saw the individual aerials competition take to the skies above the famed Deer Valley Resort, where Aliaksandra Ramanouskaya of Belarus won the ladies’ competition and Russia’s Maxim Burov became the youngest-ever aerials world champion in an evening of incredible jumping.

Just a few days ago, the FIS Nordic Junior and U23 Cross-Country World Championships ended in Lahti (FIN).  Now the baton passes on to the next Organisers, Oberwiesenthal (GER), who will host the event in 2020. In their first step, the logo and the visual identity of the event have been presented and the website and social media channels opened.

Alpine snowboard competition at the Utah 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships wrapped up on Tuesday with an exciting -  and snowy - parallel slalom race, where Switzerland’s Julie Zogg claimed her first world championships title and Dmitry Loginiov of Russia became the third man in history to sweep world championships alpine snowboard competition with his second gold in as many days
Shiffrin golden in super-G to kick off World Ski Championships in Åre

American Mikaela Shiffrin opened the 2019 Åre FIS Alpine World Ski Championships by claiming the fourth World Championship title of her career but her first in super-G on Tuesday in a nailbiter race where gold was decided by only 0.02 seconds.
Jacobellis and Dierdorff claim first ever snowboard cross mixed team world title

A little bit of history was made on Super Bowl Sunday in America, though it wasn’t by the players on the field in Atlanta. Rather, a new chapter in snowboard histroy was written by Lindsey Jacobellis and Mick Dierdrorff of the USA, who won the first-ever FIS Snowboard mixed team snowboard cross competition, at the Utah 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships.
Utah 2019: Parallel giant slalom preview

With Utah 2019 FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships SBX competition wrapping up on Sunday at Solitude, the focus of snowboard world champs action now moves an hour down the road to Park City Mountain Resort, where the parallel giant slalom event will take place on Monday, February 4th, with qualifications scheduled to begin at 9:00 MST, followed by finals at 13:00.
