FIS is pleased to announce the appointment of Juerg Capol to a new position as FIS Marketing Director as from 1^st July 2016.

On Monday, 5^th June 2016, Olympic Channel Services (OCS) announced that it has to date reached cooperation agreements with 27 International Sports Federations - including FIS - to collaborate on content for the Olympic Channel, marking another significant step on progress toward launch.

During the first two days of the 50^th FIS Congress, two traditional seminars were held on Sunday and Monday.

The second International Ski Congress was held from 20^th-21^st March 1911 in Stockholm (SWE). It saw the participation of 15 delegates from 9 countries.

Lauri Asikainen currently suffers from back problems and will therefore miss the first training camp of his team in Austria.

Saturday, 4^th and Sunday, 5^th June 2016 were the official arrival days for FIS Congress participants in Cancun (MEX). 

Magnus Krog is starting the season on the same high note that he finished the last one with: the 29-year-old won the Nordic Combined competition held at the Oslo Ski Show with 24.9 seconds on second-ranked local hero Jarl Riiber. 

On the upcoming Monday, the 50th International Ski Congress will begin in Cancun, Mexico and also for Nordic Combined, a number of points are on the agenda.
