Two weeks after the preparation for the new season started for the jumpers, the Slovenian Ski Association announced the team nominations for 2016/17.

While many athletes are still enjoying the last bit of winter in several spring training camps, the Snowboard World Cup circuit has had a number of retirements following the 2015/16 season.

Yang-ho Cho announced his resignation as President of the Organising Committee for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (KOR) on 3^rd May 2016 after serving almost two years in the position.

As the winter season has come to a close in almost all the ski resorts, our athletes are over with snow training. Some of them already enjoyed vacations at the beach, but others used the cold spring days to test new skis and extend/revise their contracts with the ski industry.

The Cross-Country season has not ended yet for Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk. On Saturday, 30th April she won the Fossvatn Ski Marathon in Iceland. 

French Ski Federation has announced nomination for the Cross-Country national teams for the next season. 

The Polish Ski Association (PZN) announced its team nominations for the 2016/17 season.

Six jumpers are on the Norwegian national team of head coach Alexander Stoeckl for the upcoming season.
