Due to a scheduling conflict at Dusseldorf (GER) Esprit Arena, organizers for this season's scheduled Dusseldorf Snowboard and Freeski big air World Cup competitions have determined that there will be insufficient time to realize the construction of the competition ramp correctly this January. 

One of the best German Cross-Country Skiing sprinters Hanna Kolb announced the end of her skiing career.

The Styrian town of Bad Aussee hosted the 83^rd General Assembly of the Austrian Ski Federation last weekend. The daytime session was dedicated to a working meeting, while the following gala evening was the chance to honour the best athletes of the season and say goodbye to those who announced their retirement.

On the occasion of the 83rd Austrian Ski Federation country conference in Bad Aussee, the nation’s successful Olympic athletes were honoured with a gala evening, among them, the Austrian team bronze medal winners in Nordic Combined Mario Seidl, Bernhard Gruber, Willi Denifl and double bronze medallist Lukas Klapfer. 

The Norwegian Ski Federation has established a special training group for Ladies’ Nordic Combined which is supposed to help prepare athletes for the bigger medal events to come.
