The 28 years old athlete from Engelberg announced her retirement from ski racing after today’s National Championships.

Many Ski Jumping national teams will start the next season with new coaches: After Andreas Mitter, Finland, Goran Janus, Slovenia, Heinz Kuttin, Austria and Gerard Colin, France, a fifth head coach is ending his job after the last season.

The French Ski Jumping team around veteran Vincent Descombes Sevoie and youngster Jonathan Learoyd needs a new coach for the new season.

In the men's Ski Jumping Continental Cup 2017/18 the athletes had the chance to prove their skills in a total of 28 competitions at 14 venues in 12 different countries. 

This weekend, the Russian national championships in Nordic Combined took place in Chaikovskiy and women’s COC champion Stefaniya Nadymova and Ernest Yahin took the titles.

On the last few days, the Russian national championships were held in Nizhny Tagil. The titles in the individual events there went to Denis Kornilov and Irina Avvakumova.

It did not come out of nothing. After a steady way up the result lists through the past years, Norway´s Maren Lundby truly reached the top in the 2017/18 season. 

The FIS Congress 2018 takes place from 13^th-19^th May in Costa Navarino (GRE). It includes meetings of the Technical Committees, the Council as well as the General Assembly on 18^th May.

Today in Lausanne (SUI), top leaders in international sport gathered for the 3^rd annual IOC-IF Gender Equality in in Leadership Forum.

We have seen many of the sport's biggest names announce their retirement from World Cup ski racing at the end of this season.
