On 12th-13th March, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission visited the city of Sochi for the ninth and penultimate time.

On 11th March, the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee launched a large-scale project for training 25,000 volunteers for the 2014 Games.

Kamil Stoch could handle the very difficult weather conditions at Puijo-hill the best and clearly celebrated his first win in the World Cup this season. Daiki Ito of Japan came in second and German Severin Freund was third.
