Ted Ligety Set For Third Gold Medal At World Ski Championships

Defending champion Ted Ligety laid down a solid foundation for a third gold medal at the World Ski Championships with an outstanding first run in the men's giant slalom on Friday.

In women's action Kelly Clark (USA) won the finals, she was also the winner of the qualification the day before. Holly Crawford from Australia, another top athlete, became the second. French Sophie Rodriguez got the bronze.
