


On 21st January 2018, the seventh edition of World Snow Day took place with 516 events in 44 countries. It was the second largest in the history of the programme.

The ‘Mountain Peak Summit’ was staged last Wednesday, 17th February 2018 in Kitzbühel (AUT) on the eve of the prestigious Audi FIS Ski World Cup races, bringing together more than 100 key stakeholders in the snow sports industry for an afternoon of high-level panel discussions and networking.

The world’s best junior athletes will arrive in Switzerland this weekend for their most important competition of the season with the FIS Nordic & U23 World Ski Championships in Kandersteg and Goms, and the FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships in Davos.

The 2018 edition of the FIS World Ski Flying Championships presented by Viessmann is in the history books and it was a massive success for both the Oberstdorf (GER) Organising Committee and the Norwegian team, which won the two much coveted gold medals.

The Organisers of the 2019 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld (AUT) are ready for a full operational test this week when it will host the fifth edition of the Nordic Combined Triple alongside the FIS Cross-Country World Cup.
