

On 9th July 2017, the IOC Executive Board, of which FIS President Gian Franco Kasper is a member, agreed on the programme for the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne (SUI) and it includes the addition of ladies’ Nordic Combined and Freestyle Ski and Snowboard big air.

On 11th July, the Extraordinary IOC Session approved changes to the Candidature Process for the Olympic Winter Games 2026 that will reduce costs, simplify procedures and provide more assistance to National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and cities during the bidding process.

Always eagerly anticipated among athletes, teams and fans, the FIS Ski Jumping Grand Prix 2017 will kick off in Wisla (POL) this weekend.
