Head Coach Kristian Hammer has nominated seven athletes to the Norwegian A-team for the 2017/18 season.

Spring the time when teams take the opportunity to reorganise their coaching staffs. Some nations have already announced changes and hired new coaches for the upcoming Olympic season. Here is an update of some of the new faces with the various teams.

At 38 years of age, Norwegian veteran Håvard Klemetsen has decided that it’s time to hang up his skis. “At age 38, I have realised that it is maybe time to get a proper job and start to collect more pension points”, Klemetsen is quoted on nrk.no. 

Last spring Charlotte Kalla decided to leave the Swedish national team and during the off-season to train on her own. Kalla is going to keep the same model for the Olympic Games season preparation.
