


The end of the World Cup season is not necessary the end of the ski racing season for our athletes, as most National Championships take place in the weeks after the World Cup Finals. Here is a summary of who grabbed which National title so far.



Denis Kornilov and Ksenia Kablukova claimed the titles at the Russian Ski Jumping championships on the normal hill in Chaikovsky.

The FIS Speed Skiing World Championships concluded last weekend in Idre Fjäll (SWE). 18 medals were up for grabs in six categories on the impressively steep Choken slope featuring a drop of 48°.

From 3rd-7th April 2017, the FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships will showcase a stacked field of over 440 talented future stars from 26 nations in Chiesa/Valmalenco (ITA). It will be the fifth time the experienced and loyal Organisers are hosting the event.

Following the last weekend in Ski Jumping, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard, the final crystal globes have been awarded and the FIS World Cup season 2016/17 has successfully concluded in all disciplines.

Kalevi Häkkinen, Finnish Speed Skiing legend and former Chairman of the FIS Speed Skiing Committee passed away last week at the age of 89.

National Ski Associations have one month to submit applications to host the 2022 and 2023 FIS World Championships before the deadline for nominations of 1st May 2017
