Jarl Riiber has returned from the hospital after he dislocated his should during today’s race in Lahti.

In response to race cancellations during this season, FIS Officials and Local Organisers of the Veysonnaz World Cup have agreed on a change to the programme.

Two weeks ago the Worldloppet General Secretary announced the American Birkebeiner as the replacement for the cancelled Tartu Maraton.

 The final event of the 2015/16 FIS Freestyle Skiing aerials World Cup season took place in Minsk, Belarus, on Saturday, where Ashley Caldwell and Christopher Lillis finished off another strong season for the US aerials team with victories in the respective ladies’ and men’s competitions, while Caldwell and Ukrainian jumper Oleksandr Abramenko would finish the day holding the aerials crystal globes. 

The 9th Audi FIS Ski World Cup downhill of the season was staged today in Chamonix. The famous “Verte des Houches” track was prepared perfectly and despite a very light snowfall, the race could take place under great conditions.

After a third place on Friday, Nadia Fanchini surprised again as she raced to victory in a shortened downhill on Saturday in front of seven thousand cheering fans.

Johannes Rydzek and Fabian Rießle are the happy winners of today’s Team Sprint event in Lahti. 

Bokwang Phoenix Park, KOR - Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen (NOR) and Alex Bellemare (CAN) have claimed victory in today's penultimate slopestyle World Cup of the season which was staged at the Bokwang Phoenix Park, Korea, and served as the official Olympic test event for the upcoming PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
