Severin Freund the best again

After his success on Friday in Courchevel, Severin Freund also won the FIS Grand Prix in Einsiedeln (SUI). With two jumps on 113.5 m and 260.8 points, the overall World Cup winner came in close ahead of Peter Prevc and Kamil Stoch.

Sara Takanashi won this summer's first FIS Ladies' Grand Prix. With the longest jumps of the day on 98 m and 97 m, the Japanese scored a total of 243.4 points

Severin Freund won the FIS Grand Prix in Courchevel. The overall World Cup winner, second last weekend in Hinterzarten, jumped on 132 m and 130.5 m and took the win with a total of 247.4 points. Japanese Kento Sakuyama and Peter Prevc finished second and third.
German teams headed for South America without Neureuther

Up until now, summer training took place on the European glaciers for the German alpine teams: the Stilfser Joch, Saas-fee and the Mölltal glacier offered excellent training conditions but in mid-August the different teams are headed overseas.

A „minor setback“ for Lindsey Vonn: After a training crash in which the American sustained an injury to her ankle, she had to quit her training camp in New Zealand and is headed back the the USA.

Together with the European Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (FESI), Atomic, Blizzard, Elan, Fischer, Head, Nordica, Salomon, Tecnica, Tyrolia, Marker and Völkl, FIS has developed Manufacturers Kids Demos. The Demos are designed to provide equipment for event Organisers to help participants enjoy snow sports.
Anti-Doping Testing 2014 in numbers

FIS is publishing yearly statistics on in-competition and out-of-competition doping controls based on a seasonal overview, it is interesting to take a look at the overall doping control numbers in the FIS disciplines in the report prepared by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) which includes doping controls conducted by various Anti-Doping organisations.
