Flachau, Austria – More than 15'000 spectators flocked into town on Tuesday evening for the 5th night slalom race staged in the famed ski resort. Sweden's Frida Hansdotter took advantage of a 0.23 second lead from the first run to remain in first place after a very solid second run under the floodlights.

With 333 Freestyle ski athletes from 23 nations participating in 11 days of competition, the Kreischberg 2015 Freestyle Ski and Snowboard world championships will be the biggest event on snow from January 15th to 25th. 

Good news for Alpencup fans! The competition weekend in Schonach which was set to take place on the 10th and 11th of February and which had to be cancelled due to the weather situation has been rescheduled

The first-ever combined freestyle ski and snowboard World Championships will take place from Jan 15-25, 2015 in Kreischberg, Austria. 

„Le Roi is back“, as the French announcer at Chaux-Neuve repeated throughout the weekend - and really, in Chaux-Neuve, Magnus Moan is king. Beloved by the huge crowd of enthusiastic spectators, Moan is often at his best at the French venue. Out of his 23 World Cup victories, he took four in Chaux-Neuve, along with a number of podium places and Top 3 results in the different team formats.

Nick Fairall, who suffered a serious spine injury when he fell in the qualification for the final event of the 4-Hills-Tournament in Bischofshofen, is still in the hospital in Schwarzach. 

The 41st Dolomitenlauf is guaranteed. This year it will again take place in Obertilliach. The romantic mountain village offers excellent cross-country courses, where several national teams and amateurs started their training already. 

Bad Kleinkirchheim, Austria – The third super-G race of the season was finally called off on Sunday because of strong wind gusts and poor visibility. 

Martin Johnsrud Sundby (NOR) and Marit Bjoergen (NOR) have won the 2015 Viessmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Craft Sportswear. For Sundby it was a repeat of last year, but for Bjoergen it was her first ever win.
