

Although Moscow has been organising consecutive Snowboard World Cup events since 2005 - with the Olympic seasons of 2006 and 2014 being the only two exceptions - it has been more than seven years since snowboard fans have had the chance to watch some big air action in the Russian capital


With less-than-ideal snow conditions plaguing much of the Alps it seemed only a matter of time before one of the stops on the Audi FIS Ski Cross World Cup would be effected, and today we found that to be the case with the cancellation of the Megeve (FRA) competition originally scheduled for January 22, 2017.




With only five more days to go till the alpine Snowboard World Cup tour picks up pace again in Bad Gastein (AUT) on January 10 and 11, 2017, Local Organisers are in the last preparation phase for a true highlight of the World Cup calendar.

To honour and celebrate the history of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, Organisers of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup races in Zagreb (CRO) have prepared a 165-metre-long ski slope in downtown Zagreb at which former and current World Cup champions will race today, 4th January 2017.
